We keep this site simple. Outdoor Local doesn’t run a contact form or a comments section. It doesn’t list an email address or any other public way to send us a message.

How mistakes get fixed here

Jess Harlan goes back over published notes and corrects errors when they’re found, such as a changed park rule or a wrong crate size. Every corrected note carries a short line saying what changed, with the date beside it.

If your dog needs help on the road

If your dog is hurt or unwell during a walk or trip, contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic near you. A field note can help you pack a first aid pouch. It can’t tell you what a limp or a cut needs.
